Computer programming, in its most basic terms, is writing code that tells a computer how to execute an operation. On a larger level, it involves analyzing users' needs and developing a program that efficiently and effectively operates to meet those needs.
Computer programming is a vast field, with programmers working on projects ranging from video games to complex scientific programs related to things like rocket launches. But for all programmers, the basics are largely the same.
